GMS411

Mediscint Blood Flow Monitor System

The GMS411 MediScint is a four probe system used to detect and track the flow of a low energy radionuclides injected into a patient.

This practice is used to monitor blood flow in muscle, fat and tissue and falls within the clinical field of Endocrinology.

The system is made up of a single bench-top unit which handles the running of the probes, real-time display and data storage. The instrument is capable of accepting up to 4 custom designed smart probes and will automatically detect which probe is plugged into which of the 4 sockets. The system is made up of a single bench-top unit which handles the running of the probes, real-time display and data storage. The instrument is capable of accepting up to 4 custom designed smart probes and will automatically detect which probe is plugged into which of the 4 sockets. Making it easy for the clinician to identify where each probe is placed, the position can also be labelled on the instrument (upper left abdomen for example).

The GMS411 records the count rate from each probe fitted and displays the data as a graph on the 640 x 480 pixel LCD display. The data from each session can be saved to an internal SD card and downloaded to a PC at a later date. The included GMS411 Data Manager Software is used to download the saved data and display it on the PC.
