The NMS018 Lightweight Neutron Survey Monitor is a portable, battery-powered monitor for use around reactors, accelerators and other neutron producing sources.
The NMS018 must be calibrated for the known neutron field in which it is to be used, otherwise the measurements will not be valid. Please contact us for advice. The instrument consists of a 3He proportional counter, with a 127mm diameter polythene sphere, preamplifier / EHT unit and processor / display unit.
