The AEGIS ED2 Application Interface software is responsible for configuring, managing and the storage of the data and settings stored on the ED2 data cards. The application can be split into three distinct parts, which are: The Interface Application Data Manager The Data Card Wizard The Report Wizards

The Interface Application Data Manager The Interface Application Data Manager is the program started when the user clicks on the AEGIS ED2 icon. It is responsible for : Organisation of trial data from multiple ED2’s. Display of previous trial data and config set-ups. Starting the Report Wizard. Starting the Data Card Wizard application. Storage of all uploaded trial data.

The Data Card Wizard The Data Card Wizard is started from the Interface Application Manager, and is responsible for: Initialising the ED2 data cards. Setup and configuration of the ED2 data cards. Analysing ED2 data cards for logged data. Uploading of data to the Data Manager database. Creation of ED2 calibration data cards.

Report Wizard The Report Wizards are started from the Interface Application Manager, and are responsible for: Producing graphical and tabular data reports for printing. Exporting trial reports to PDF and RTF formats for storage. Producing trial reports which can be exported into Microsoft Excel for analysis.
