Underwater Gamma / Neutron

Underwater Gamma Neutron Probe

The Underwater Gamma Neutron Probe (UGNP) is designed to measure gamma and neutron dose equivalent rate, flux and to log or display counts over a predetermined time interval. The UGNP comprises of an anodised aluminium housing, GM tube, 3 He proportional counter, signal processing electronics, data logger, power supply and RS485 communications circuitry.

The UGNP is capable of operating autonomously for a period of 100 hours or can be monitored remotely by means of a portable instrument or optional handheld/personal computer (running JCS Data Logging Application software).
